Social Impact

At Greco Chess Academy, we believe that chess is a right — not a privilege. It’s more than a game; it’s a life-changing tool that should be accessible to every child, regardless of their background or ability. From underprivileged communities to visually impaired learners, our goal is to bring the power of chess to those who need it most — and to show them that they belong on the board.

Teaching the Visually Impaired

We are proud to coach visually impaired students, using specially adapted methods and equipment that make chess fully accessible — from tactile boards to verbal move descriptions and one-on-one guidance. One of our visually impaired students even represented India at the Asian Para Games, and many others are now confidently competing and growing through the game. This initiative is made stronger through our ongoing work with the Shradha Shiromani Foundation — an organization dedicated to empowering persons with disabilities. Together, we offer inclusive chess coaching that goes beyond teaching moves — we help students build confidence, discipline, and joy.

Supporting Underprivileged Children

Chess has the power to equalize — to give children from underserved communities the same cognitive, emotional, and leadership tools as anyone else.
We’re especially proud of our outreach programs in collaboration with the Shradha Shiromani Foundation, which shares our mission of using chess as a medium for education and empowerment.
